Officer and Trainer: complementary, distinct
Compliance relies on two articulated competences. The Compliance Officer ensures and runs compliance in the organisation. The Compliance Trainer builds people's capacity — designing and delivering the training that makes the function possible and producing auditable training evidence. Across the European Union and its Member States, these are distinct and interdependent functions.
